Backing-up Registry

• Open up 'regedit' (click START and type regedit (where it says 'Search programs and files' ('Run' or 'Command Prompt' in older Windows version)) and hit the enter button )

• Right click on 'Computer' then select 'Export' from the menu
• Save this file to your c:\ (naming it something with the current date in the name is wise "backup_07_08_2021.reg")
